My stay at Riad Vendome & Spa was somewhat of a mixed bag. While the location was great, being just a short walk from the main attractions, I did experience some challenges with the room's condition, like a lack of hot water and unkempt decor. On the plus side, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience more pleasant.

The room I had, the Merzouga Junior Suite, was clean, but I faced issues like no hot water on the second-to-last day and visible wear and tear with hanging electrical cables. Also, I was misled by the description of a 'private pool', which turned out to be a shared area.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main souk and square, and the service from the staff, especially Naima, was attentive and made me feel safe.
